What's so wonderful about qigong is that it energizes me and brings me peace all at once. When I'm feeling stressed, upset, or drained, qigong helps all of that disappear!
It is a blessing to see people open up after practicing qigong for an hour or more together. They may have been avoiding eye contact before class, but afterward, most everyone is smiling and striking up conversations with one another. And this openness and joy tends to stay with you all day!
I'm currently busy with my massage school internship, but I intend to begin working with my husband, Michael, as the second therapist for Archangel Massage & Bodywork, in February. Shortly thereafter, we intend to begin teaching Level 1 Qigong classes together. In the meantime, we are working on finding a space to hold the classes in.
I am really enjoying my internship at Sterling Health Center in Addison, and I can't wait to start my new career. In an effort to finish up my internship quickly, I'm offering a free massage to anyone who gets a $35 massage from me at Sterling! So far, people have been very complementary of my work, and it feels great to be helping people feel better!
