I have read that the proof of wisdom is in the actions it produces. Qigong has increased the heat. I am not able to run faster than a speeding bullet yet, and I only leap tall buildings in a single bound in my dreams. My metabolism, however, has increased; my stamina has improved; and I have this fixation with avocado pits (lol). Who knew? Qigong is a call to artists everywhere, and a performing artist is always investigating new ways to practice their art form. My art form is worship. I worship God by celebrating life. I fast and I pray. I sing. I dance. I meditate. I move. I breathe with thanksgiving in my heart. I smile. I laugh. I cry. When I practice Cloud Hands, the second exercise of Level 1 Qigong, and I inhale and raise hands to face, I do so expectantly. When I look out the window of life, I expect God to speak. When I exhale and reach for the sky, I am grabbing and holding on to the answers I need. When I arc out into the T position, I am prophetically bringing heaven's answer down to me. In the T position, I am reminded of Yeshua's sacrifice and his love for me. So Qigong has been a lovely addition to my worship. It makes me feel beautiful inside. I feel like a mime who must speak, and his gestures MUST TELL THE STORY OF LOVE!
