Qigong is proven to me as a powerful tool for healing and rejuvenation. My experience at a workshop of 550 people here in Austin was incredible. Through Qigong I was able to open my heart to feel a deeper love than I ever have before. Qigong has helped me to build my capacity for Love, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Compasssion and to simply give me the energy to pursue my budding career as a Massage Therapist. Qigong has helped to make my everyday life more enjoyable and fulfilling with greater energy capacity.
Immediate benefits of Qigong I have noticed are feeling very calm, aware, energized and light. Over time participants notice higher energy levels, greater clarity with direction, and a more naturally postive daily life. I have not held classes up to this point, however I have come together with friends to do Qigong. I am more than happy to support anyone who wants to join us and learn with my guidance. To be able to share such a powerful healing technique with those who care to honor themselves is an honor for me.
Classes are informal and free. Anyone can attend. Attire is comfortable, socks do not have to match and can be individually toed ;-). Calling is the best way to ensure timely response. As of November 26, 2007 I am a Licensed Massage Therapist(Sooo Excited, so fresh). One recipient described how she saw and felt the tension in her back melt away in the form of hot spots turning from red, through the rainbow of color to blue. So vivid I could imagine the release. Those experiences always put a smile on my face, affirming my desire to pursue my career as an LMT. Emotional Freedom Technique is another energy healing practice I share a great passion for and look forward to incorporating it into massage.
