When I do Qi Gong in the morning I find myself centered and better able to handle the stresses and challenges of my day. When issues arise that may cause me to become upset, I am able to breathe it out easily and return to a place of balance. The energy I absorb when doing Qi Gong infuses my physical, mental, and emotional bodies with a profound calmness and increased ability to feel that connection to Source and to the higher self.
My current focus is to teach children during my Saturday program. Light Way Schools is a project I have been developing for two years and is aimed at supporting children in who they are and helping them to develop their intuitive gifts. Qi Gong helps these sensitive children to protect themselves energetically from any discordance in the world around them and to stay centered and focused throughout the day.
In addition to teaching Qi Gong to children, I also do Raindrop Therapy and Reiki healing with bodywork in my home in northwest Houston.
Qi Gong classes are on Saturday's from 10-2:30. Qi Gong is part of this class. At this time it is for children only. Dates are available on our website. The first Saturday is January 12th, 2008.
I am currently working on developing an afterschool module in collaboration with the Schools of the New Spiritualiyy headed by Linda Ratto and Neale Donald Walsh. The module will include spiritual lessons from the Conversations With God books, as well as physical activity such as Qi Gong, and academics through service-learning projects.
In the Spring of 2004 I was teaching French in a public middle school in Houston, Texas. I loved teaching and still do, but that Spring was different. I knew I couldn't come back the following year, but I didn't know what I was to do. So I stopped work (I am not married and have no sugar daddies lol). I did have some savings. After two years of hard spiritual work, I realized my purpose was to build schools and advocate for Indigo and Crystal children. Qi Gong is becoming an important part of that mission.
